I first became aware of massage therapy when I was a sophomore in high school. I had been involved in a multiple car pile-up on a sunny day in June, in my high school parking lot. The car I had been riding in was rear-ended multiple times and I suffered a severe case of whiplash. Chiropractic work and massage became a close ally in my path to recovery. I noticed, if I kept up with my three week massage for maintenance, my symptoms would improve and my chiropractic adjustment appointments would become less frequent.
I found the massage restorative. Finally, I was able to remain faithful to my massage maintenance schedule and made a full recovery. This experience has shaped my time and money budget for life. I have made a life long commitment to receiving regular massage and have enjoyed many health benefits from the decision.
After completing high school, I started a family, worked and attended college in tandem. I received my BS in Business from Anderson University and have spent my career in the field of customer service. In 2011, I completed a reflexology course that would change my focus in customer service from a business background to starting my own business. I added massage therapy to my reflexology practice in 2014, upon completion of my degree from Alexandria School of Scientific Therapeutics, in Alexandria, IN.
I have taken multiple continuing education courses in my field. I'm in constant pursuit of how to help us feel our best. For a complete bio including my approach to massage therapy, simply give me a call or send me an email. I look forward to hearing from you.
